Last week, I gave a talk to a Mastermind about making more BY working less.
One of the things I suggest doing is time blocking your tasks into 25 hours so that you can see how you're spending your time and ensure that the Main Thing Tasks (everything in alignment with the one thing that moves the needle most) are taking up the majority of your time.
If you craft a 25-hour work week, this means that more than 13 of your hours are spent on Main Thing Tasks.
I wanted to share a template I created to keep myself on track. I recommend filling this out at the beginning of each week.
2 things to note:
☝️ If Main Thing Tasks are not taking up more than 50% of your time, it's not your Main Thing. This is probably why you're not moving the needle in your business as much as you would like.
✌️ If you can't fit all of your secondary tasks into your calendar, or if they take up more than 50% of your time, it's time to ruthlessly eliminate, automate, and delegate the tasks that aren't moving the needle. (Notice that I put eliminate in bold - it's because that is the most important thing you can do).
Implement this and let me know how it goes!
I'm so grateful to be in your corner,
Summer
